These are written... so that you may have life. If you are not reading God’s Word, how can you believe and grow in your faith?

Who is JourneyMen?  How do I get into JourneyMen? Some of you know the answers to these questions, but some of you probably don't.  Sure, most of you have heard the expression JourneyMen, seen advertisements for JourneyMen, or have seen men wearing those cool Journeymen shirts and hats, but do you know the what/who/how's of JourneyMen?  Let's start at the beginning by explaining the requirements to be in JourneyMen.
 
The first requirement is that you need to be on a journey, thus the first part of the word JourneyMen. Since you are reading this web page, it is proof that you are alive and on this journey we call life.  Check!  First requirement down.
 
The second requirement is that you need to belong to the group of people known as men, thus the second part of the word JourneyMen.  For now I will let you decide if you are a man or not (we will dive into this deeper on a future devotion).  Since you are reading this JourneyMen site, and you have confirmed that you are in fact a man.  CHECK!  Second requirement down.
 
The third and final requirement is the most important one and is not necessarily obvious when you first hear the word JourneyMen.  The third requirement is that you are part of the category of "Men Walking With Christ...".  Since you have read this far and are still reading, I will take that as a yes, that you are in fact part of the category of "Men Walking With Christ...".  Check!  Third requirement down.
 
In summary, all people are on a journey, yet not all people (or men) are JourneyMen.  All men are men, yet not all men are JourneyMen.  No, to be in JourneyMen you need to be alive and on this journey called life, a man, and "Walking With Christ".   You are all three!  Final Check!   Requirements met!
 
As JourneyMen, let's turn to God's word for encouragement and direction.
 
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying "I am the light of the world.  He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life" (John 8:12).
